I was in your lovely city last weekend, moving my son into his apartment for his first year of college. I drove right past the Hotel Congress during the Cafe, sending my well wishes in my mind to the person who was sitting behind the mic for you!

Awww, that's awesome! I'm so sorry I missed your wave! I was listening to the Cafe a few miles down the road, setting up my kiddo's 7th birthday party at the park. Glad we both got to enjoy the music with our boys 🌟. Jimmy slayed, as expected--I'm so grateful that he lent his talents. I learn so much from my fellow djs.

Yes, Jimmy was excellent. I'm remembering hearing Edith Piaf, which was delightful. Happy birthday to your son! Saying goodbye when they go off to college is not easy - and yet a reminder to give them the time and hugs when you can.

Oh, wow! I'm honored that you heard it here on KXCI first! I still struggle to disassociate that track from the horrifying scene in Tarantino's Death Proof.

I have not seen Death Proof yet, but Tarantino certainly has a history of combining grisly scenes with chipper / upbeat songs.
