55 Shades of Blue

55 Shades of Blue was originally a radio show on KXLU called "Hippos in Tanks" started with my best friends Barron Machat and Travis Woolsey. Barron and Travis left the show to run the label "Hippos In Tanks and I created my show "55 Shades of Blue." I've been playing experimental dance music in the vein of HIT since 2010.

Show Vibe:

I’ve alway thought that drowning in the ocean is a beautiful way to die. At least after the moment where you lose the fight to live, breathe your last breath and you drift quietly under. The music I play on the show is very much like a large body of water. Its an ecosystem of life and emotion. Synthesizers and textures ebb and flow. My show is about drowning in sound, sadness, and the serene.
