Rare is the song that didn't just sound great in the hands of the man who wrote it, but in the hands of various people who covered it. Whether it was Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Roy Ayers, Ken Boothe, Horace Andy, or Bill Withers himself, I have never tired of playing "Ain't No Sunshine." Rest in peace, Mr. Withers.

Due to the pandemic crisis, KXLU will continue to broadcast on auto-programming only through this weekend and to the next. There will be no Bomb Shelter tonight, or on April 10th.
