Radio Free Brooklyn is a nonprofit community organization whose mission is to empower Brooklynβs underserved local communities by providing active learning in media practices, and to amplify their voices through a global Internet radio platform.

Francesca DβAlessio is a painter, museum educator and DJ. She began career in radio at 7yrs old with a tape recorder and her dad as cohost.Her work in radio spans over 2 decades,most recently at noncommercial, nonprofit, listener supported radio station KPOO89.5fm in San Francisco.
