The Rodent Hour is an homage to the friends that I made during my misspent youth, those lifelong friends who joined me on those weekend nights so many years ago and whose eclectic tastes still influence the selection of artists and music that is featured on the show.

When not dealing with the restrictions of Covid-19 The Rodent Hour features interviews with independent musicians along with a curated playlist of music from Brooklyn and beyond the borough. I've conducted interviews with over 240 unique artists from places such as Detroit (MI), Durham (NC), Nashville (TN), Scranton (PA), Philadelphia (PA), Atlanta (GA), Denver (CO), Petersburg (IN), Portland (OR), London (UK), Pamplona (ES), Toronto (ON), Halifax (NS), Stockholm (SE), Dublin, (IE), Glasgow (SCT), Perth (AU) and, of course, New York City.

X-Ray Love on Radio Free Brooklyn

Finally! We're finally able to have guests in the studio again and I couldn't be happier to be welcoming members of X-Ray Love to our new studio as my first guests.

The band was the last band to play live at The Bitter End before the City shut down and they still haven't had a proper release show to celebrate the release of "No Parking", their debut EP.

The result was a mixture of different stylisitic elements characterized by instrumental, partly spherical, partly heavy fuzz sound. Heavy Psychedelic Sud Rock was born.
