Thanks Larry, I had to go back and look at them pre-80's and damn if they weren't a decent blues band.

I had to look at them also and found that the old stuff was all I was aware of, I agree with you on the newer stuff.

The Alaska Building was built in 1906. It was designed by Tourtellotte & Co.

It was originally two floors. The upper two floors were added in 1911. In 1983-84, they excavated the basement space, redesigned the lobby, and added the glass elevator and atrium to let in more natural light.

The businessman who constructed the building was John P Tate. He named it the Alaska Building because he was infatuated with Alaska but would never be able to go there because of his poor health.

Jason, I look forward to your show on Friday mornings. Back in the mid 70’s my room mate and I had over 150 LPs. When we had parties, somebody would browse our collection and start playing random songs that they were interested in. Your show reminds of those times. A great mix of stuff you love, stuff you thought you would never listen to again and stuff you have never heard.
