Moor Mother! very cool!

Yes! She put out about 5 0r 6 albums of spoken word/free jazz this year. Hard to say which is the best, but maybe Circuit City. The entire thing is about urban housing.

Analog Fluids of Sonic Black Holes album is phenomenal! I’m not particularly religious but Mother Moor is my goddess.

Analog Fluids of Sonic Black Holes is where it all started with me after someone sent it to me cuz they thought it was up my alley. That was a bull's eye for sure!

also cool Emma Ruth Rundle. Experienced her at Treefort a few years ago. She topped the two “bigger” bands that followed her band.

If I remember right, she was at Mardi Gras? Something kept me from getting over there and I will forever be bummed.

Yep, it was the Marci Gras. Unfortunately, the sound techs were not up to par. But, the bands endured that day- Throes, Hummingbird of Death. Pretty sure one of Emma’s musicians had a talk with the sound people. But, it was a great time despite the challenges.

Oh nice, and yeah part of the game, especially for national artists is to deal with that kind of thing from techs. She also has a new album out with Throes.
