I haven't really strayed from the program tonight. I did change up a lot of what i originally planned earlier tonight, so it kind of gets weirder than normal.And played a song or two out of order, lol, but that's almost normal.

The reason I love the late-night shows.

Last week, almost the entire show was improvised. Basically scrapped the entire first hour and then got all lost as to what to do.

Mikey, i have a very curated show. It's pretty regimented to the theme every week. I've never really just spin random like other djs, but it's part of my ocd nature. That's why I appreciate how seasoned djs can have so much spontaneity. It's amazing to hear them on the fly.

Oh, I hear you. I'm trying to find time to get my horror podcast started again, so when I move to Boise, I can pitch it to Wayne. It's mostly horror discussions, but a lot of the music is gonna be original scores, soundtracks, and horror inspired.

Yes, I know it! They're a Baltimore band, the song is on a comp benefit of maybe 100 Baltimore bands to support for the Ottobar, which is kind of their Neurolux.

Maybe more like their Dantes, but we don't have something like Dantes in Boise.

I've heard of the Ottobar. I believe they hosted Maryland Deathfest.

I really would like to visit Saint Vitus in Brooklyn, NY.

I love that there's a record shop at the Lux. I wish Amoeba was next to a music venue. I know the Glass House in Pomona, also has a record shop, but it's nothing like Amoeba.

Thanks, for presenting a cool set of tunes. If I had my way all the DJs at RadioBoise would be compensated for the cultural enrichment that is brought to the airwaves.
