Nice opener. One my favorite Television songs, but I have not heard that version before.

Thanks. Those reissues do magic things. I didn't know it existed either. Although it fooled me a few times because I kept waiting for the vocals to come in.

That's my constant dilemma-- I have an original clear red vinyl pressing of "Adventure," and as cool as that is, it has no extras.

Then I picked up a reissue of Roxy Music's first album which duplicated the original British version, meaning it did not contain "Virginia Plain," as most American pressings did. You can't win!

The digital world has proliferated everything. Fun, but hard to keep up with. And it creates dilemnas with us nonwealthy folks for sure.

There's been a lot of Roky Erickson tributes all over RB lately. Been great to hear.

Yeah, I had to chime in. They were pretty much building blocks of nighttime college radio.

Yeah, pretty sure I first heard "Two-Headed Dog" late on KUOI 30 years ago.

I guess it's fitting because a lot of the other late '60s/early-mid '70s bands you play on this show sound so much more like what I thought the Dead would sound like. When I was a kid, the name and the imagery led me to believe they would be this ultimate psychedelic trip-out band.

The letdown of them just being this hippy-dippy folksy stuff may explain my enduring mild antipathy towards them.

I've had to work through a lot to get even to this one cut for the same reasons, believe you me. :)

All is forgiven when you play Lou.
