Join your host, Fritz Homans, on Wednesday afternoons from 2 to 4 p.m. to listen to some great blues that features local to internationally known artists. I try to feature blues artists that I have known, met, or have seen over the years in my travels that do more than just play notes: I like to feature folks that are good musicians as well as being great performers and entertainers. Some of the best blues artists are locally or regionally based around the country and don't have major record contracts and thus, aren't known to larger audiences. The Blues Station will try to showcase those local and regional, and sometimes national, blues players as well as playing some of the major influences of the genre from years past. Each show will have great blues music with information about the musicians and their bands.
