| Fred Allen Guest Frank Sinatra Personal Collection Public Domain Oct. 21, 1945 - Fred meets a new young singer and introduces him to hillbilly music - despite which, Frank has a wonderful time. The show is interrupted by Ercil Twing (comedian Pat Patrick) who subpoenas Fred - to a lawsuit by Charlie McCarthy (which we'll hear next week).

| Jack Benny Jack goes to Las Vegas The Jack Benny Program Public Domain Apr. 29, 1951 - This live broadcast from Nellis Air Force Base celebrates National Aviation day with lots of laughs, including tightwad Benny's experiences at the Las Vegas Hotel. A great response from the delighted air force personnel!

| Jim and Marion Jordan Fibber Cooks Doc's Pheasants Fibber McGee and Molly Public Domain Nov. 23, 1948 - Doc Gamble bagged a couple of lovely birds, and Himself is determined to cook 'em up the old Indian way - encased in clay and thrown into the fireplace. A highly questionable -- if very funny - way to celebrate Chef Appreciation Day.

| Peter Sellers, Spike Milligan, Harry Secombe The Mighty Wurlitzer The Goon Show Personal Collection Neddie Seagoon, church organist, having driven all his parishioners to change their religion, takes his Mighty Wurlitzer to the western desert, where he may break the sound barrier! No organ has ever traveled so fast, which (if you think about it) is an entirely appropriate way to mark Serendipity Day. Or not.
