Hobo's Lullaby

May 21, 2022 4:00 PM â€“ 6:00 PM

Music

Hobo's Lullaby provides a space in our programming to explore the roots of American music. We look to the very foundations of blues, country, bluegrass, and jazz in the American tradition to better understand how each style developed and relates to other genres. Each show is centered around a theme, which allows for a historical and alternative presentation of the content. In the past, shows have focused on prison songs, Anglo-American ballads, sea shanties, and train songs. Tune in Saturday afternoon!
