Jazz from the 1940s, continuing with jazz throughout the century :)

As we take a step through into the next decade, we find ourselves in the 1930s! Coming right off of the great depression and into the swing era.

The start of jazz through history! WE start today with the 20's and we'll find ourselves over these next few weeks going from the 1920s to the 2020s. The Century Of Jazz!

Zen back in the studio and back on the mic with some more jazz!

Jazz that makes me feel like it's winter time. Small inclusion of two Christmas tracks at the end since I won't be around during the rest of December.

When I think of jazz, I think of jazz combos and that's what this set of full of! :)

This week we just play some good ol jazz. I'm experimenting will a little bit of a calmer sound then usual and also prepping for next weeks set where I plan to give more backstory behind my tracks.

A set with a few different sounds you might hear through the semester. (I might be trying to go more for the songs of the last three tracks more though so watch out :) .)

Since the final set next week will be a recap on my favorite music of the year, today's set is the last unique set of the Swing Set until we go until the next semester.

Today's set has a lot of funk, funk jazz, and overall the music I want to expand more towards as we go into the Fall. I love jazz and I'm going to keep playing jazz, but I want to expand out and play other genres just to try something new. The Swing Set is getting an expansion and is likely becoming The Playground next Fall. :)

With a lot of the previous sets this semester being themed, I thought of trying another theme. This theme is "Just Jazz" where I play music that you would think is just jazz.

Also an hour daytime set after since Full Metal Racket won't be in the studio today so I'm taking her timeslot briefly.
