Welcome back germs. this is it, what you needed for the last few weeks.

A collection of songs that remind me of Christmas to help WONY get into the spirit of the season. This is a compilation of unconventional Christmas songs, songs that simply remind me of the time, as well as tried and true Christmas songs from the ages. We are joined by my good friend Nick Fox who makes an appearance as well as Erskine Lakes LEGEND Glenn Friteg.

This is hardcore punk of the 1980s, NYHC, pop punk, and emo from later in the 2000s. My father joins us to tell tales of the Lower East Side when he resided there. DJ OJ joins us for some laughs as well as the drummer of the legendary New Jersey pop punk band Used Up Adrien Fusaro. This episode features songs that will make you groove. this also features commentary from my father who called in to tell us a story of Billy Idol in his drunkenness at a Public Image LTD. concert in the early 80s, shortly after this my fathers friend, WFDU radio legend, John Monroe called in to tell us his PIL and Billy Idol story. later in this episode my good friend Nick Fox called in to request a song and he stayed on the line to talk about the last 4 songs that I played.

I love all music but noise rock holds a special place in my heart... maybe its from the endless butthole surfers and hardcore punk played for me as a child... none the less on my second installment of Obscurities w/ Magnus Chenel we embark on a journey through psychedelic rock, as well as noise psychedelia, and 90s psychedelic. We were also joined by the man the myth the legend my father Christopher "The Fink" Chenel he told us stories of a drunken Butthole Surfers frontman eating a monetary check given to them after asking for cash up front.
