Art Stevenson has played bluegrass music in Wisconsin and the Midwest for over 40 years. His band "Art Stevenson & High Water" has been active making great bluegrass music since 1993. He has been collecting roots music recordings of all kinds since the 1970s, and has thousands of titles of country, bluegrass, folk, Americana, jazz, and other genres on 78 and 45 RPM, LP, CD, and digital formats. In 1989 Art started the "Acoustic Revival" radio show on WWSP-Stevens Point. Although he left the show in 1991, Acoustic Revival is still a popular Sunday morning folk/Americana music show on WWSP. When Back To The Country host Bill Malone moved to San Antonio in 2020, Art jumped at the chance to help keep the popular show going on WORT 89.9FM Madison, and hosts "Back To The Country with Art Stevenson" every third Wednesday of the month. "I am interested in the roots and branches of country music. Let's explore the music's history, and also examine the many current artists not on the Top 40!"
