I heard Pleased Youth being interviewed on WPRB in the 1980's. I don't recall them playing in the studio though. They probably just had album cuts played between the talk segments.

I think I saw Pleased Youth a total of three times. First in 1985 at the Toms River First Aid Squad, which saw some hostile activity between skinheads and local jocks. Then later that year in a Holmdel basement. Lastly was a year or so later at the Rutgers Student Activities Center on George Street. The cops came to stop that show.
