Good afternoon! I'm not used to hearing myself this early!

Wow... the quality of the Fall's cover art is really all over the map. And with a seemingly infinite discography, almost any cover art you can imagine probably exists somewhere in the universe.

To be fair, it was only their second single!

Oh, definitely not a slag on them. Just an observation -- I like that a band that's got such a highbrow cultural reputation can have artwork that looks... like that.

There's a Fall single from the early 2000s (I think) with horrifically bad cover art of a totally different style. IIRC, it looks like of like a still from a 1980s cartoon. Lemme see if I can find it on Discogs...

Consistently in awe of how beautiful that Unwound record is. I can't say I listen to many of their other records anymore, but that one is really special. Thanks!

It really is an incredible album. I never really listened to much of their stuff until recently, which was a big oversight on my part.

we had roaches too. we used a simple bait that lay with a syringe and took real good care of 'em

Apparently they love the glue that's found in the binding of old books and record sleeves so between my wife and I it was a veritable smorgasbord for those creepy crawlies

we did that for a while but within the last month it got so bad we had to call an exterminator in. the carnage was untold

glad it's been mitigated

I'm behind, popping in to say that I am obsessed with Nihiloxica and believe them to be actively creating a new genre of music. Mind bending!

I am battling a fruit fly infestation here. My pitcher plant is at war against them. I know better than to buy discount produce from an alleyway, allegedly

We had a mysterious fly infestation on top of the roach situation a few weeks ago - think it had something to do with the fact that the garbage in Philly hadn't been removed for weeks. But luckily they disappeared on their own.

Did they get into your makeup? I stayed at a hostel in Boston that had roaches and they ate some weird old cover girl blush I had and then died. Super cool that the blush that could kill roaches went on my face for years.

Wow, no, but I did just throw out a bunch of makeup brushes that got sprayed with roach poison when the exterminator was over.

And here's where I got lazy because I rarely ever do three hour shows! Enjoy the improv.
