hi! yep, that was his biggest hit i think, or at least the one that made it into the oldies canon.

he had a ton of hits though, he holds the record for most appearances on american bandstand.

i love him, he rocked really hard in a period that is not known for rockin'

Kate Bush to Oh my I loved Hounds Of Love. Such a solid album.

yes, never forever is the first one i got into but i think hounds of love came after that. i was very late to the game on kate bush, i always respected her but it's really only the last 5 years or so i've come to really like her music.

I remember Shocking Blue for Venus but they have many great songs and albums.

I'm in love with WPRB have been since the late 80s. I remember so many different programs and songs & often wonder what the Djs are doing nowadays.

yeah wprb is great, it's an honor to be a part of it!

I didn't realize that was the Mike & Jen I remember.

yeah we're broadcasting from home since the campus is largely closed for the pandemic, so jen can do her show from afar. mike is the advisor at the station, he's a lifer.

And Music You Can't Hear On The Radio. I love that show and listen to it all the time.

That is so cool. I'm so happy that everyone is doing ok & still around. The same with Jon Solomon he's been around forever as far back as I remember.

yeah he was only a teen when he started

shawn i think keeps tabs on what is going on at the station but he's not doing a show. he pops up here and there.

Geeez thnx so much for letting me know how everyone is & that they are still around. Shawn used to do the opening and closing announcements when the station would go off after like 2 am and come on at say 6 am with the Classical show.

They would play the music from Charlie Brown Peanuts at the start.

Yup same here... since 89 or 90 in high school.

i didn't grow up in the wprb broadcast area but i definitely grew up with college radio and stations where you just keep listening because even if what's playing now sucks, you want to hear what they will play next.

wprb really is and has been a top notch station in that realm though.

I have such diverse taste in music so I'm never bored here. There is something here everyday for me.
