Yeah, I really love it. Still Jane Weaver, but very much trying something new.

This blurb for the new record is sort of amazing.

"Still prevalent are the cosmic sounds, but ‘Flock’ is a natural rebellion to the recent releases which sees her decidedly move away from conceptual roots in favour of writing pop music. Kneeling In Piss - AWFUL band name, but they have some gems.

There's an Andy Votel remix of a Jane Weaver tune that's similarly poppy if memory serves. Votel/Weaver might be my favorite music "power couple."

It actually wasn't!

It feels different to their past records. Perhaps more tuneful, yet equally loud?

Definitely as loud. I've been using the word "cleaner".

Some of the scuzz from previous recordings isn't there, but that's not a criticism.

Odd that if I didn't know any better, I would have thought this was the one Albini produced instead of Strange Peace.

Dan Friel from Upper Wilds was previously in Parts & Labor. Both bands make excellent sounds.

I just grabbed their album Mars off bandcamp

And I will definitely check out Parts & Labor

Several of these songs are from there.

I've enjoyed the whole set so far, but this song in particular is wonderful.

The guitar (synth?) in that song was so great. What a sound.
