I love their covers. This CD is full of great art. They often blend images of faces with nature.

Änglagård was the only band I ever saw that had 3 Mellotrons on stage simultaneously.

Discogs samples don't do it justice. The original cover uses some sort of metallic ink.

I totally missed their US tour. Didn't get out much. No money and no transportation.

I saw them at NEARFest. They started a couple hours late due to the complexity of their setup. The drums required something like 30 microphones.

At least their performance was documented on "Buried Alive". Sounded good to me, but they were in tears thinking it wasn't up to their standards.

I saw Änglagård at NEARFest Apocalypse. I still miss NEARFest and used to dream it would come back, but that was a pre-Covid dream.

Actually, it was 2010 I missed, not 2008.

It was a wonderful weekend. I'm not a super-deep prog fan, but something about the immersion in 2 long days of it was overwhelming in a good way.

I will misidentify the title of Eberhard Weber's record in my mic break. It is in fact "Little Movements".

I totally agree about Derek Trucks. He's got unique sensibilities that take his playing into some really interesting areas.
