I did see KISS, but not at a kite festival :{

I had a Kiss lunchbox in 1st grade.

My friends got to go see them when we were in third grade, but my parents would not allow me to see Satan Rock.

and envious of the tour books and lunch boxes...

I've always felt that Kiss is sort of like Jandek and GG Allin in that you hear *about* it and it sounds like it's gonna be really wild and cool and dangerous and then you actually hear it and it... kind of sucks.

i wore a paul stanley costume for Halloween when i was 7 or so. the kind with the cheap molded plastic mask

i did get to see them (record store perks!) in makeup with pyrotechnics...it was not bad. but only for free!

As a Jersey Kid who did a fair amount of living in and around NYC as an adult, I can say with absolute confidence that of the many things I miss about the LES, CBs isn't one of them.
