I've loved those over-the-top Robbie Basho vocals since I first heard this track on WPRB a couple months ago. Not sure if it was you, or someone else who played it.

Are those Indonesian vocals mixed in there?

This is hypnotic.

I'm not sure what the language is (if it's a language at all)! Ak'chamel is from Houston, but this CD came out on a label that reissues a lot of East Asian music

They're clearly inspired by Sun City Girls, and I'm sure they do a lot of crate-digging (or YouTube deep-dives, depending on how old they are)

I sounds like Ak'chamel may have sampled Japan's "Voices Raised In Welcome, Hands Held In Prayer".

Or sampled from the source that Japan sampled from.
