Definitely! (And I'd geek out over being 103.3) DJ Elliott had an interesting idea for a count down, wanted to have a list but play it out of order

Yes...I always play 1/3 of a song to start...but I make sure it's super long, so it still feels like a whole song.

The Necks song was about 21 minutes long total, so I played 7 minutes of it.

Oh or maybe next year play 1.3 of a song, so either slow it down and add a third or play part of it again

Yes I could slow it down by 1/3...sort of like my old Warped Moments.

Really enjoyed that drum track too btw, what metal bands was that artist in?

Warped Moments were mash ups I'd do of two songs, with added beats. Typically slowed down or sped up too.

I stopped making them maybe about 5 years ago?

Loved WWMs!

They were fun...but they were taking sooo long to create. It would take me three hours each week to create a 3-minute song!

Check out John Oswald Plunderphonics too. Those are fun

After my third child was born, I no longer had the time.

Yes I can understand time to retire that feature

But I am planning on starting up the themed half of shows -- after this countdown is over.

He did movie mashups back in 1999-2000 or so.

Thanks for the add'l tech info on Cuddle Magic's album Bath. That is very impressive, so many mics and so many people in a small space, mixed live (no overdubs, right?) and getting such a superb sound! Although I'm thinking so many people together helpfully absorbed a lot of sound so it wasn't echoing distractingly off the hard walls and fixtures.

Keep the awesome sounds and intriguing background info coming! Thanks!

Yes -- it's really an amazing feat. As a live home recorder myself, it must have been quite a challenge.
