It's always worth listening to Marvin. He presents things nobody has heard before.

I'm always amazed at how much really excellent new music he finds.

And Marvin has SO MUCH music, he can only present things once, and has to move on to other great things.

Yes, Bud. It's under appreciated record by an under appreciated guitarist on an under appreciated label.

CMP was one of those labels that I would just buy automatically.

Yeah, CMP was kind of an edgier ECM, weren't they?

Yeah, now that you mention it. Never thought about it, but they have plenty of similarities.

Just glancing through their catalog - I forgot they released all those great Trilok Gurtu albums.

And also Trilok Gurtu's mother. Part of their world music series.
