I mentioned this the other day to KPC in chat. I'm not sure if the overblown VU sounds are intended & like that on mix or it might be on the transmission side? This sounds great now!

it might be the means of transmission, I don't know if the home software tries to overcompensate

i think problem was I couldn't hear my own music through the headphones

Ahh this is nice. Yeah I just try to protect the hearing. The headphones too to a lesser extent. When the fuzzed overblown songs come on I have to set the laptop volume on 1 haha. But turning down the vol in the streamguys site web player helps too

yeah for sure, i need to do the same so my ears later on don't betray me lol.my biggest fear is developing tinnitus, but i think im ok on that front for now
