And educational ! / i had to look up what the heirophant is she’s singing about :)

I love that song because it's really beautiful and at first feels almost romantic

but then you actually listen to the lyrics and the singer is clearly way too obsessive

the "I've gotta be" lines get creepier to me every time she says it

also emma ruth rundle and thou is such an amazing combination

hey just wanted to say i don't usually listen to this type of music, more of a pop type, but have been enjoying the harddriving energy and anger and passion of the songs you've been playing - sorta suits my mood as i finish up some work here at the wfh computer!

Sludge unites us all!

I'm glad you're liking it!!

I think the passion hidden in metal and sludge is often underestimated

but in a way metal is a very empathetic genre haha

Thou/ERR track sounds (beautifully) like a cassette being eaten by a car's tape deck...

It's definitely great work music though. I have a work playlist that's just metal

anything can be sludge if you try hard enough

well one thing is that almost all sludge is either doom or stoner metal

like they fit into those broader categories

but not all of it

pantera is not sludge metal

though in general I'm just..... not a fan of pantera
