I often wonder about how many people have been trying to call the WPRB studio request line since the station went to remote broadcasting. I've wanted to pick up the phone a few times and check in with the DJ while driving over the past 11 months.

It makes me so sad to think of that phone blinking into the night

As a listener, I can attest that Harvard's station was/is really disappointing. The shows to which I attempted to listen seemed to function only as an inside joke among djs. There was no attempt to reach out to their hypothetical audience. Even when the selections were good, I felt like I was eavesdropping not listening...

In other words -- What Kristin Belz said!

Yeah, I never understood their programming philosophy. 5am–1pm was Jazz, 1pm–10pm Classical, then 10pm-5am "miscellaneous"
