I was hoping that some Weather Report would be played in "Weather Report." And so you have! Thanks, but did you have to order the, , hihgly memorable weather event to launch your show?

A virtual blizzard would have sufficed but, well, you're the host ... ;-)

I'm a total Floyd dummy aside from from Barrett-era. I'm one of those jerks, but if they've got Carl Stone vibes I gotta check it out.

Hi Sara! Just tuned in, had to step outside and feed the birds. My cat ran outside and quickly regretted his decision.

Ummagumma double lp. Each member did an album side all by themself for the studio portion of the lp. Other record was live. Roger W did a very experimental long titled piece that had rodent like squeaks, a repeating nonsense "chant" similar to the earlier part of this piece here and a rambling exaggerated Scot accent

Pat check out their Soundtrack lps. "More". And "Obscured By Clouds". Interesting sounds on More. Clouds is more songish but great. I like them better than the big prism. ...

the only post-Barrett Floyd thing that I really enjoyed was the Live at Pompeii film. Will definitely check out your recs Brian.

"More" is mostly instrumental. Some cool backwards cymbal or something like that on one piece

Very much! More the "girl groups" than the "boy groups." But for all K-Pop stars, the level -- and range -- of talent is almost beyond belief: vocals, dancing, acting ability, and general star vibe. The recording productions are often pretty astonishing, too. (But sadly, it's a harsh & demanding life, sometimes with collateral emotional damage, as in many other high-intensity performing arts careers ...)
