The two day snow day only added to my confusion.

It is Wednesday my dudes

Darn near 4 days of straight snowfall

Yet somehow we only got 8"-10" of snow. Seriously packed snow.

Yes! I get to hear a JS show from the VERY beginning!

Springtown up the road a piece got 30 plus inches. The bands of snow did vary

I saw one town up north may have set a New Jersey snowstorm record, besting a record from 1899!

But they're reviewing the accuracy of the claim and it could take...months?!

Ahab your re entry into the weekly mix just makes me love this new season schedule even more. From Mon am on it's a strong team so far

We only got that much snow here in Central MA as well. Although the next town over claims to have gotten 20". I'm skeptical. Because of the 2 snow days and 2 days off at the end of the week for vaccine #2 for the residential programs, Max's day program has only been in session today of the entire week. BUT -- Max got vaccinated today! An amazing feat, believe me!

Nice. My dad got his second shot today (with an assist to AAA helping them get the car up the hill at the end of their driveway).

That's wonderful!! Yay for Mr. Solomon Sr.!

Hello chat! This new Brokaw record is stunning. Waiting for my mail order from 12XU to arrive. New Brokaw, Charnel Ground, and Xetas.

Oh, that's a quality order. Still need to pick up all three myself. Seemingly every member of my peer group owns a copy of Puritan already.

Indeed. Just requires patience, said it was processed at facility in Canada Sunday and nothing since. I heard there is a second Charnel album coming sometime which is very exciting. Went with The Tower, I like new Xetas, but that one still my fav.

I have a small stack of new-ish vinyl by the front door I need to catch up on before I buy anything else!

Nice! Gotta start purchasing more new records. Only 2020 release I have is Complications by E. Got a bunch of used stuff last year, but that's it for brand new music.

Brian, I thought it way WAY TOO CLEVER on first blush but I re-listened to 3-4 songs on my own last night and had a great time.

This one, the title track and two more I forgot the name of while typing.

Can't think of another record that successfully cribs from the 90s / 00s / 10s in such equal measures.

We are eating spaghetti and meatballs here. I actually got sunburned yesterday after 6 hours outside with my child, whose snowsuit is rated to -25F. A mistake because he never gets cold and never wants to come inside.

Wow! We went on two sledding runs but nothing like that. Did get to use the fireplace for the first time in nearly a year!

Oh yes, Jane Weaver is amazing! Gives me chills. Wasn't sure about the first single but it grew on me hard. And that new one hit me right away.

Tonight, we're just doing pizza takeout. Last night, however, I tried a new recipe for pan-roasted hot Italian sausages, 3 kinds of apples, and shallots w/ wholegrain mustard and rosemary, and a side dish of garlicky, mustardy French lentils. It was delicious!

I thought the Nacho Szulga record was out this Friday, turns out it is the NEXT Bandcamp Friday. Whoops.
