My my! I've got to check out the songwriting team of Barrett Strong & Norman Whitfield. What an education I get from WPRB. (Seeing as you're licensed at Princeton University, think I could earn some course credits?)
Readie R. (host) 7:42:44 PM
Oh wow, that's a great song, Bo- next week
coolbluetoo 7:43:01 PM
Driving around in the car, I used to take a crack at alternating singing the high and low parts of alot of these motown songs - some bruised and battered vocal cords when I was done!

Seriously ... I get such a fabulous musical education thru just about everything show & host here. Much gratitude ...

Readie R. (host) 7:53:34 PM
Hey Davey, welcome my brother!
Readie R. (host) 7:53:56 PM
Tamla was the 1st imprint
Daveyglad Neversad 7:54:27 PM
i think i know your undisclosed location
Bo 7:54:46 PM
Ah, figured you'd have some insight
Readie R. (host) 7:55:12 PM
Davey! are you a psychic?
Richard from Rocky Hill 7:55:19 PM
"Psychedelic Shack" and "Cloud Nine" by the Temptations and similar themed songs by black groups in the late 1960s and into the '70s are so interesting. It seems that when Motown and other record companies realized how genuinely the white hippie kids loved black music, there was a crossover in themes to appeal to that audience. Thoughts anybody?
Alan Pasnyk 7:56:17 PM
I Love this stuff regardless of history
Bo 7:56:50 PM
Timeless.
Alan Pasnyk 7:57:08 PM
Smooooth
Daveyglad Neversad 7:57:20 PM

Yes, and the string arrangements are wonderful, so well charted and arranged.
Bo 7:59:24 PM
Just another brilliant show, thank you Readie Righteous :)
