Miles Davis did a studio version of Time After Time and also (MJ Human Nature) on his lp You're Under Arrest. Time After Time was a hit of sorts for him. I used to hear it all the time on the AM radio station that mostly played news. He put it in his set from then on to the end of his touring days

Joe Messina one of the guitarists in that doc is still with us at 92! He was on so many songs. Playing the backbeat chords that snap like a metronome
