Yeah, while Pissed Jeans is OK to say on WPRB...Kneeling In Piss is not. This is the best I could come up with! Because it totally sounds like something else when I say it.

I picked up a comic book in PA earlier today and it turned out the shop owner was a WPRB listener and that certainly made me want to go there more! Shout out to Wade's Comic Madness.

Haha really though..I remember being stoked when I saw a hat in the pledge drive...And that's awesome! Local shops supporting local radio! And the whole darn thing keeps perpetuating itself

The most recent Love & Rockets. Somehow I missed that two issues came out during my year of quarantine.

Only comic I regularly buy single issues of. For more stuff my daughter and I read together I wait for library trade paperbacks!

I'm supposed to get a free Y The Last Man from our town's free stuff group but that swap hasn't gone down yet.

Oh cool all around! Yeah Brian K. Vaughan is great, when I discovered libraries had all the trades of so many great series, that's when I really got into comics..kinda fell of with the pandemic.

I think the kid and I have gone through every new Marvel Star Wars trade in the past decade. Was harder to find everything when the graphic novels were in three different library locations for random reasons.

Oh yeah, been there lol. I traveled the country for a year and we went to librarians all over and I always checked their graphic novel section, selections varied drastically

Has she / or you read saga yet?

I checked out the first Saga but I can't remember why I didn't get to it before it was due back. Totally on me.

We've got an excellent library. Plus they can get titles they don't have from other branches in the county.

Oh it's great, very well done, and it's been around so there's plenty to read. I tried suggesting/lent saga to my coworker for her young daughter who was getting into comics, but she flipped thru, gave it back to her and said mommy this is too mature for me, it's not for kids lol so take that for whatever it's worth

I'll get the first book again now that I have...more time on my hands.

Saga. Compendium one is now on hold.

Ya lid def. Also required for the only way to reheat pizza slices. Lid off in skillet at first to crisp the bottom of bread. Then lid on to melt cheebs. Get that micro outta here!
