Brian D 5:01:23 PM
Happy Thursday! Coffee Cola for all
Lizbot (host) 5:02:34 PM
Hi Brian D 👋! I NEED coffee cola right now! I had a really hyper busy day yesterday, now today I feel like I’ve been hit by a truck
Brian D 5:05:39 PM
Love Mogollar! Ya today is run down, joints ache
Lizbot (host) 5:06:07 PM
Ughhhhhh 😞.
Lizbot (host) 5:06:16 PM
Time to kick back and let the music wash over us
Mark 5:09:57 PM
hi lizbot 🤖/ first two had me thinking about getting turkish coffee & a hookah:)
Lizbot (host) 5:10:43 PM
Hi Mark! Ha, yeah, that’s about right
Lizbot (host) 5:10:57 PM
Could go for either or both.
Brian D 5:13:05 PM
Oh yesss
Lizbot (host) 5:13:29 PM
Weekly dose of Fripp- what the doctor ordered
Brian D 5:15:59 PM
Morricone track had a Muppets vibe
Lizbot (host) 5:17:00 PM
Yeah, I cut that off early with this Armand Frydman track, cut it at the bridge. Reason being, I made a mashup of Lark’s Tongue III and this A Frydman track this week the A Frydman track was going to come in at the bridge, but then I decided I wasn’t sure I wanted to do that!
Brian D 5:18:22 PM
Mix it up Liz Selector
Lizbot (host) 5:18:23 PM
@Brian- Yes! It’s no surprise Jim Henson pulled from Italian film composers like Piero Umliani for his muppet hit Mah Nà Mah Nà- these songs are often so silly!
Lizbot (host) 5:19:29 PM
Haha, thanks Brian! Maybe another week. I’ve done that before, but this one was kind of a happy accident and I liked the way it sounded, but then I felt like it was just sliiiiiiiiiiihhtly out of sync, although I played it for other members of my household and they didn’t think so... 🤔
Brian D 5:20:23 PM
I could hear Mah Na Mah Na often. And Adriano Castellano and Esquivel switching continents a little...
Lizbot (host) 5:21:07 PM
Love Esquivel!
Brian D 5:24:17 PM
I meant to type Adriano Celentano oops
Brian D 5:24:27 PM
I think...
Lizbot (host) 5:27:08 PM
Yeah! Actually, speaking of Celentano, I’m playing a song called La Dolce Vita, but not FROm the movie, later tonight in the show. You can guess who it’s by...
Mark 5:29:05 PM
if I’m reading his bio right he’s currently at princeton for phD/ I’m asking for CE credits after this music set :)
Lizbot (host) 5:30:29 PM
Who? Celentano?! He’s like 82 or so
Mark 5:32:01 PM

Wow, I’m so tired and out of it today, it was pointed out to me that I listed the WRONG TIME for my show today on social media 🤦🏻‍♀️
Lizbot (host) 5:38:07 PM
Hi Mark-Yes, Florent! Sorry, I’m tired today. Yes, he was years ago, he’s probably done now. I saw him in Princeton a long time ago
Lizbot (host) 5:38:15 PM

Lizbot (host) 5:46:14 PM
Haha, thanks Mark, but I rarely can nap. Not a napper. I’ll be on the sofa listening and chatting
Lizbot (host) 5:46:35 PM
I LOVE this Minnie Riperton cover of Aretha
Lizbot (host) 5:48:47 PM
More Mogollar for Brian
Mark 5:50:56 PM
now i think i finally understand rotary connection/ i think there cream versions were played a few weeks ago
Lizbot (host) 5:51:18 PM
I’ve played their cover of Tale of Brave Ulysses
Lizbot (host) 5:52:31 PM
Minnie Riperton’s voice was so haunting and perfect👌 Shame she died so young
Stephen Higgins 5:55:27 PM
That Mogollar piece was killer!
Lizbot (host) 5:56:48 PM
Hi Stephen! Yeah, I love them!
Lizbot (host) 5:59:06 PM
This group was led by French actor and weirdo, Chris Chanet

Good evening all. I see the thumbnail for the Nihiloxica song and I like that big stork on the cover
Lizbot (host) 7:01:36 PM
Hi Rob! 👋 Yeah, good stork!
Lizbot (host) 7:03:30 PM
Uz Jsme Doma into Ruins makes me happy
Rob from Maryland 7:04:56 PM
Hi Lizbot. It should be a Marabou Stork, which is not a bird I want to meet in a dark alleyway :-)
Lizbot (host) 7:08:58 PM
One more Stereo Total song for the recently departed Françoise Cactus, from their final album, since I barely played anything from that one during my tribute
Lizbot (host) 7:16:47 PM
A dose of Sparks for the evening ✨
Lizbot (host) 7:18:35 PM
@Rob - Yeah, that thing looks like it could do some damage! I’m also intimidated by geese and maybe some swans, which I kinda regard as fancy geese. Both can be aggressive. Did you hear about that park ranger who died from a swan attack?!
Lizbot (host) 7:19:25 PM
I also never want to encounter a cassowary!
Lizbot (host) 7:19:39 PM
which is basically a dinosaur
Bob Borowsky 7:25:16 PM
I recently bought this CD! Very cool
Lizbot (host) 7:25:32 PM
@Bob- Hello and yes!
Lizbot (host) 7:27:12 PM
This song on now is by WPRB’s own Abbie from Mars! Her debut album
Mark 7:32:44 PM
Hmmm now I have to look up swans aggressiveness I see them every couple weeks at the Morris Arboretum/ they share the pond w a group of mallards / they look like they wouldn’t harm a fly :)
Lizbot (host) 7:38:00 PM
@Mark- this park ranger years ago was out on a kayak in a lake and this swan kept attacking his kayak, knocked him out of it, and kept swarming him until he drowned! I think that was one particularly angry swan! The only bird aggression I’ve ever witnessed outside of birds of prey fighting was from geese, seagulls and roosters
Mark 7:44:06 PM
Ha that’s amazing / these swans r so peaceful & the little kids all love them the mallards tho r always quarreling amongst themselves I’ll have to see the stations naturalist Krista knows about this !
Rob from Maryland 7:45:03 PM
I don't think I heard about that swan attack. How tragic. Mute Swans (I'm sure that's the species) are freaking lunatics at times
Rob from Maryland 7:45:37 PM
And cassowaries are basically old-school dinosaurs
Lizbot (host) 7:45:42 PM
It was a mute swan!
Rob from Maryland 7:46:13 PM
Yep. Dangerous Birds. (There's a band name from the 80s)
Lizbot (host) 7:46:47 PM
I’m glad I don’t live where cassowaries live!
Brian D 7:46:58 PM
Very soothing wind-down set Liz. Liking it
Lizbot (host) 7:47:21 PM
Or the early 2000s Philly band, Danger Bird!
Lizbot (host) 7:47:30 PM
Thanks, Brian D!
Lizbot (host) 7:49:57 PM
Roosters will attack. I kept hens for years, but no roos. Even my friend’s tiny silkie breed bantam roo that was barely larger than my hand always attacked everyone’s feet!
Mark 7:52:36 PM
how about ur present birds r they gentle ? other than trying to get at ur headphones :)
Rob from Maryland 7:53:00 PM
Wild Turkeys will sometimes attack people in their own back yards. I'm glad I don't have a yard and don't live that close to turkeys
Mark 7:54:15 PM
still would like to hear them on the show / & yes very nice show closing a great 8 hours from esoterica at noon
jimbeaux 7:56:30 PM
Thanks Lizbot...grrrrreat show :)
Lizbot (host) 7:56:53 PM
I’ve read there’s some nearby town in Bucks with wild roving turkeys terrorizing people!
Lizbot (host) 7:57:00 PM
Thanks jimbeaux!
