Jerry, what you said about Philly was soooooo true....The Showboat would let us teenagers in for Saturday matinees and drink 50c Cokes all afternoon and listen to Cannonball...Concerts at the Palestra were so smoky we could barely see the stage from the crows' nest seats.....

I've been learning lap steel a bit over the past few months on my grandfather's guitar from the ~40s(?). SO laughably satisfying to play something that sounds right out of a hank williams record (or spongebob)
