I just listened to this whole record this morning. It's impossible to get tired of it.

It is lovely, Bud. And the (enjoyably) loud House Sparrow outside fits nicely.

I have some sort of little brown bird making a similar pleasant ruckus right now.

House Sparrows and Song Sparrows are out right 'round here right now. Does it have a brown beard/goatee?

No, and I think my wife ID'ed them as House Wrens. There's a pair building a nest in a birdhouse just outside the window, and man are they chatty.

It's a good day for all the above.

We're particularly happen to have them, since they're apparently voracious insect eaters.

But on a more musical note, I'm really happy to hear Pharoah Sanders still playing so well.

And singing!

This guy had to have hung out with at least 1 Pink Floyd member at some point!

He's about 20 years older than them and based in Amsterdam, but was doing this stuff in the mid-60s, so very possible. Thanks for the compliment earlier too, ZapX.

Definitely going to have to check out some of his other recordings.

This is the only record, he was a primarily a visual artist.

The Sub Rosa label is great for all sorts of stuff, but I really appreciate their efforts in digging up strange Belgian and Dutch stuff (they're based out of Brussels...)
