In the seventies you had people like Tony Rice Clarence White Norman Blake etcetera taking the guitar to all these crazy levels

Yeah it is crazy to think of the technical hurdles the guitar had to get over to become so prevalent. Like wasn't les Paul a laughing stock for electrifying one at all?

I never heard of those guys gotta do some Googling at lunch to hear about those crazy levels

Some bands at the festival still use only the one microphone and they hop around taking turns getting closer to it

Spinitron error. No Regrets was an lp of re recordings that came out in 1988. That was definitely from the "Froggy" On The Track lp that we heard today.

Chatham County Line are another great festival band. Saw them many times at Grey Fox Bluegrass Fest. Good players n songs. Airways put on a good show. Crank out new albums w good tunes still
