im gonna start saying Shoey-kool. thats pretty great. Short unrelated story, i had a boss who once insisted you say "seitan" ....."SEE-TIN". Her evidence was that she claimed to know the people who "invented it in the 60s". I think she was pathological

Hah that's good! I guess that she was thinking of seitan at all was cool, unless you just worked in a vegetarian restaurant...

the insane thing was, both she and i were vegetarian. Its how it came up. She seemed ominously threatening when i challenged her pronunciation. In honor of that memory, my wife and i still say it that way to this day

i first discovered right around the same time i found an effect add on for you tube videos where you start the video, turn on the add on, then you can create infinite image "trails" with your mouse. LYousergic Tube

I forget what the effect or add on was called... some book mark on old computer

I found some good add ons when i was a gtr teacher for slowing or speeding the video in smaller decimal increments as opposed to the very limited 25, 50, 75 etc % that yt has as default in the "gear / flower/ wheel" settings

Slowing usually was helpful for the kids. And of course as a treat for the kids.... we'd SPEEED UP the videos and listen to the crazy audio

when i was a teenager, it was this EP that made me realize that keyboards and punk could actually go together

tbh i'm only recently acquainting myself with sticks and stones. I've seen them on show flyers and definitly heard some songs over the radio over the years. these tributes have been great.

sucks, they just moved their 2021 tour to 2022. Get this, people from a country where they've all but eliminated covid are skeptical about coming to a place where 40% of the people think vax is microchip mind control. And they dont even see that as a POSITIVE THING

Plus, first time I saw them they opened for White Fence in Philly. Killer show but they were the opening act and played an encore after the crowd kept cheering for them, which I guess is understandable, but also seems like a major opening act faux pas.
