Oh it was awesome! At 97, he was incredible regardless of age, and then being 97 just made it impressive. Interesting acoustics outside, sounded really good still, and it was a nice back drop, cemetery was cool

Awesome, glad to hear it! Yeah it was kinda short, but only because for an encode they marched thru this house, and then invited everyone in, management wasn't pleased so they played a bit for a small crowd inside, sung happy birthday, and then had to wrap up. Made it inside though 😬

I'm planning on going to Princeton one hot day to record the actual Brood X. The background is just overlaid annual cicadas.

OK so check out album Advaitic Songs (awesome drumming and string instruments). And then God is Good is great too, albums before that, like Variations on a Theme, also great but more straight up doom metal, just drum and bass.

I have yet to hear ant cicadas :/
