They have often put small ads and public service announcements at the top of the hour on prb. That's normal

Hi @Coffeemancer! We technically are a commercial radio station, and we sometimes air short ads for our underwriting partners (local businesses though!) In the last year we haven't had many which is why ya probably hadn't heard one before

(we usually don't have many at all, anyway)

Often DJ Hanna o DJ Mike Lupica voice will be heard at top of the hour. Ha i remember a former DJ Maria T posted during the fund drive that she would donate MORE if they stopped playing a certain ad or psa...

There was one that aired constantly like 20 yrs ago.... some DJ equipment company. The guy reading it was touting the benefits of ordering online (a big new thing!) And his line was "in theory, you don't even need to put on clean underwear..." (to place an order). T.M.I. advert ha

Tobias is not a regular dj and much to our delight, he is on the air at least 17 times a week.

No Trend. Like Velvet Underground's the gift gets updated into the modern suburbs... without all the need for unwrapping packages with swords... instead... a car wreck! Classic
