Utopia, Ambrosia the only two familiar, but that’s why I love this show. 70’s Chicagoland had a FM Triad Guide show, just this sort of stuff. Much later called “space music”. It never gets old.

They we good, having a blast too. ELO was bare bones, just Ludwig Van with fingers in his ears on bass brim. Poor guy!

You know still the best show I ever saw was free WXRT show Wilco still with Jay Bennett rest his talented soul. Outdoors, huge crowd.

First three tall albums were among my favorites. They lost me with the stage show for thick as a brick. They would be raving on playing maniacally and all of a sudden stop everything for a comedy skit or weird interlude... I remember somebody coming out with a ringing phone for Ian Anderson, and a cop at one point came out... Totally killed the vibe of the music each time never saw them again

Just apples and oranges I guess. Los Lobos always terrific, surprising covers too. When I look at old Tull live YouTube Ian Anderson just looks like he’s hamming it up. Actually John Hiatt too.

That's true The whole band kicked ass. Super heavy at times, which was kind of what made it so weird when they'd stop everything they have a conversation with an English Bobby.

Oh I saw Passion Play whole thing, also Minstrel in Gallery tour. Passion Play, and thick as a brick only two I listen to now.

Forgot about Passion Play. Got it on cassette as a Xmas gift. Cool kid.

I like the story about Eagles overhearing Tull in hotel room, using Tull chords for hotel california. Because Tull never party’d.

What is your number one prog album

I think PF they’re first album is way the hell better example. Dark side is like their Rumours album, Fleetwoods. My #1 court of the crimson king, hands down.

One list has Close to the edge as best prog album.

Yeah court is epic I listen to to our children children children by moodiest alot but yeah I think crimson would be number one but it really is all subjective

Have yo seen, heard this international group with Rachel Flowers, do two part Karn evil #9, on YouTube. Rachel knew Keith Emerson, she’s blind. She plays the keyboard and guitar on it. It’s unreal how good they are.

Say, your show reminds me of a great Sunday show, used to be on wevl, Memphis, A Fistfull Of Records, used good, bad, ugly music for show theme. He had great capt. beefheart tribute when Don Vliet passed.
