I drill 50 holes in small pumpkin, press 50 white lights into them, opening in base not top. The lights make it glow orange. But, refrigerate daytime, gets warm inside. Thank you Martha Stewart!

@Dan C - the loneliness of the long distance runner is one of my favorite British "angry young man" movies! The ending! I read the Alan Sillatoe novela of it as a teen. My dad is a long-distance runner and coach and loved that film, even though the coaches aren't exactly sympathetic characters in it!
