Taking all of the precautions I can, first time on a plane since pandemic times. No use hinting, I'll be outside the whole time camping in Olympic National Park in hot springs and rainforests. Very excited about it

Hmm, interesting Mark. It does have that ring of familiarity, though I can't be certain I'm familiar with that particular melody. There's about 40+ musicians listed on that one so I'm sure someone was bound to have some Hendrix on the brain

I find it so fascinating that electronic musicians from New York to London to Tokyo are all playing in this playground, each in their own unique way. I know this kind of music drives some people crazy, but I've grown to really love it. And also when I think of artists like Pauline Oliveros and other "musique concrete" artists as far back as the 50s and 60s just playing around with tape heads and loops etc.

Music is often best made in dark, musty rooms. Playground is exactly how I'd put it, cause it's one of the most playful genres out there imo! And like you say, attracted people from just about every corner of the world who had exposure to the medium

Hi tootall joe! Glad you liked. That one I found on youtube, and not even the uploader seemed to know what album/physical release it was from, so that might be about the only trace of it I know of! Couldn't find it referenced on discogs either. I was also playing "Brain Fever" behind it, which added bird sounds and electroacoustic noises, so that could also be a reason that what you heard sounded different!
