Good morning, Brian D.

Sshhhh I'm about to quietly drive to work...
Brian D 7:16:32 AM
This is apropos for quiet drive. First Day
Brian D 7:17:00 AM
On several levels i see!
ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ (host) 7:17:13 AM
That was the plan.
Brian D 7:20:30 AM
Saw some great Nepali musicians play with Abigail Washburn and Bela Fleck at Grey Fox Bluegrass Fest about 5 yrs ago. Wonderful. Little workshop stage for some of their collabs. Right up close.
ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ (host) 7:21:23 AM
Sounds wonderful. A great opportunity to see musicians that hardly get the opportunity to tour here.
Brian D 7:24:42 AM
Abigail has found more than one instance where a trad folk tune/ fiddle tune/ banjo tune from Scots Irish UK USA origin has an audio doppelganger with an Asian tune. She played examples of this with musicians from China and I believe also with the Nepalis. Music is everywhere!
ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ (host) 7:26:08 AM
That sounds like an awesome idea for a radio show. If I only had access to the appropriate recordings.
Brian D 7:32:59 AM
I JUST caught the melody of the "while stars sit in bars and decide what they're drinking.." line and thought hey that sounds like Neil Young/ CSNY "Country Girl ".... what do ya know...
ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ (host) 7:34:19 AM
I didn't expect that melody would slip by your finely tuned ears, Brian.
ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ (host) 7:35:57 AM
Those Bulgarian harmonies always remind me of the similar Finnish harmonies.

Christine 🦊 7:57:16 AM
@Dave, I feel confident we can bring that total down to at least $119,850. 💸
ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ (host) 7:58:34 AM
I'm hopeful, too, Christine.

Brian D 8:05:52 AM
Was Michael Doucet avec Beausoleil at the Sellersville last night chef?
Brian D 8:10:07 AM
I know Omnium Records from Minnesota! Boiled in Lead home base. Bass player Drew founded. Used to call the label up back in early 90s. Very much a Boiled in Lead fanboy... 1st time i asked about BiL and the person who answered the phone says well you're talking to the bass player...

the_dude 9:09:36 AM
Speaking of repulsed, been on a bit of a black metal kick lately and some times it's just so ughhhh but in a good way. Love the sweeping melodic stuff too but the lo fi darkness is good too
ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ (host) 9:10:51 AM

Wonder what the first two parts of turtle's struggle was like? Emerging from egg and sand, then dodging beach goers? Now turtle is hitting the waves...
ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ (host) 9:28:18 AM
The first 2 parts are not as intense as this. I think the titles are random. They do not remind me of turtles at all.
