When did you first discover WPRB and Sangeet, DubNP?

I grew up about 45 minutes southeast of Princeton. Was lucky to have an older brother who was into punk, reggae, jazz, hip hop. Etc. We would skateboard inside garages on cold snowing winter days as very young kids waiting for the next new band to come on. I can remember listening to this show while sitting the in passenger seat of my brothers Camaro. Haha. I had to be 12 or so. I am 45 now.

Wow! That goes back to nearly the beginning - Sangeet started in 1986.

Was the show on Sundays?

Yes, for a while it was.

In my memory it was our trips running errands on Sunday morning. This show has been great. Thanks you.

It's gratifying to hear from longtime Sangeet listeners. So we know our efforts are worthwhile.
