I actually thought there were multiple bands called Sparks, who were one hit wonders and were annoyed there was another one hit wonder band also named Sparks.

Definitely sounds like the caravan band found a KORG in the desert.

That was one of my parts of the doc. I remember the video from when I was little but not all the people he was dressed as.

I'm a little late, but DJ Breezy's Sparks-centric show yesterday morning was fantastic. She was doing the utmost to jam in as many tracks before 10 am, mixing down the volume of one and BAM into the next.

I absolutely loved Beato's recent interview with Pat Metheny. Very, very good. If you have ever seen what he trained his own kid to do with ear training it's friggin mind blowing. Better than auditions I have seen at Paul Hall in Julliard!

Their new album is two songs. One is twice as long as the other and the short one is 20 minutes long. I'm sorry I know I said there would be no math.

Just re-watched his What Makes Song Great on VH Jump (for the part where Rick does a little sit down dance when he isolates Eddie's keyboard lines under the gtr solo - Eddie getting his inner EDM on). And then I watched Rick on Oscar Peterson's "Best Solo Ever" ripping it up on the piano on the BBC in the 70s. Beato Rabbit Hole. When I was a guitar teacher a few yrs back those vids were so inspiring. Love Rick busting out his gear to play along to the songs
