Hi DJ Milky Way, welcome back! Hey, was "The Touch" by Stan Bush originally released in 2007 (as per the playlist)? Or earlier, with 2007 a re-release? It's got that wonderful kickin' it, big-hair extravagance that unashamedly shouts "Totally '80s!"

Hi Richard, and thanks for the great question! I believe that Stan released an earlier version of this song for the 1984 Transformers movie, and this 2007 version is a remastered version of that. So that would explain its fantastic 80s energy!

The only times I've ever heard that song is on WPRB around Thanksgiving, recognized it immediately : )

yep, never seen the show myself, but I found its theme through a Cybertronic Spree cover and thought it was perfect!

The late mid-80s had that song for Nightmare on Elm Street and then Alice Cooper's "He's Back" for Friday the 13th. A perfect combination for a young Devastator.
