Tigran Hamasyan (Տիգրան Համասյան) was born on 17 July 1987. He is an Armenian jazz pianist, playing mostly original compositions, which are strongly influenced by the Armenian folk tradition, often using its scales and modalities.
At the age of three he began to play melodies on his family's piano, and he went to a music school from the age of six. As a young child, he dreamed of being a thrash metal guitarist - and he often brings this intensity into his jazz compositions.

Eiliff was a German instrumental band formed in the late 60's by Rainer Brüninghaus, Houschäng Nejadepour, Detlev Landmann, Herbert J. Kalveram and Bill Brown. The band never really made a name for themselves despite displaying some excellent musicianship. They disbanded in 1973 after releasing 2 LPs.
Rainer Brüninghaus joined Eberhard Weber's Colours thereafter.
