Hey Dave! I realized with HORROR that I forgot my ethernet adapter to establish a hard connection to the my laptop, however the wifi seems quite fast and stable so FINGERS CROSSED

I haven't built up the courage to impose the wifi embargo on my new housemate since I've only just met her, but I may do so when the spring schedule gets announced

If your router has a "5G" (actually operating on 5GHz wavelength) network option, try that out. It usually sees less interference from appliances, and is usually a bit faster at short range too!

Thanks for the tip Andrew, hopefully by the next show I'll get a new adapter and can stick with my usual ethernet cable setup
