Dan Buskirk (host) 12:58:22 PM
When Nat was a kid it was a ritual to look at the Dizzy section in every record store, Nat enjoyed just seeing his face...
Brian D 1:00:23 PM

Patrick White (1) 1:01:10 PM

Richard from Rocky Hill 2:32:52 PM
@ Dan Buskirk (host) Thanks so much for playing Chhoun Malay's "The Story of My Life" from Don't Think I've Forgotten: Cambodia's Lost Rock and Roll. My favorite variation on "Swan Lake" LOL! It's heartbreaking to contemplate that any of those spirited Cambodian rockers who didn't get out before the Khymer Rouge took over and were known to play Western rock music certainly ended on the skulls & bones piles. Thanks for keeping them alive by playing their marvelous music!
Dan Buskirk (host) 2:34:45 PM
Yes, such a sad tale, such great music!
Dan Buskirk (host) 2:38:33 PM
This Low record would be strictly forbidden at most stations, too scared to play a record that sounds like your speakers are going to blow.....
Brian D 2:45:09 PM
miles w the voice over. Ha ha. "Teo... sock it to me! "
Dan Buskirk (host) 2:45:45 PM
Made an editorial decision and cut out Miles calling her the "b-word"....
Dan Buskirk (host) 2:46:39 PM
Hope to see some of you come out for the Betty Davis doc this Thursday at the Rotunda. free!
Brian D 2:48:25 PM
Jon Solomon had some great transitions over last year playing that Low track. With its countdown-like noise bomb bursts at the end. Perfect segues
Brian D 2:50:44 PM
Overdub that? Ha
Richard from Rocky Hill 2:50:53 PM
@ Dan Buskirk (host) Sorry I didn't retainb this: But is the screening of Buck & The Preacher separate from the Betty Davis celebration? if so, where/when is it? Thanks!
Dan Buskirk (host) 2:51:36 PM
It's a double feature! The Betty Davis film is just under an hour so it shouldn't run too late!
Dan Buskirk (host) 2:53:12 PM
