I assume you're talking Rudimentary Peni, and ya - I've been reading way more about that guy and his art. I think that's what drew a lot of people! They kept making music and he kept making art.

Thanks, Mike! I think that was the one I had been reading - I had had no idea what a long history they really had.

In particular, I remember everyone at PRB in 1995 being utterly baffled by the "Pope Adrian 37th Psychristiatric" album, which "was largely written in a period when Blinko was hospitalised with severe delusion. He believed he was Nicholas Breakspear, AKA Pope Adrian IV, the only English pope, who reigned between 1154 and 1159 – he and Blinko share the same initials and place of birth, the village of Abbots Langley. The refrain “Papas Adrianus” is repeated from the beginning to end of the album."
